The short answer

A client portal for agencies gives every client one branded place to track progress, chat, approve work and find documents. XTablo does this for agencies of 2 to 5 people: a Studio for your team (projects, steps, tasks, schedule) and a portal in your brand for clients, installable on their phone like an app. from €49 per month, 7-day trial (card required).

Why agencies need a client portal

In most agencies, the client relationship is scattered: the brief in an email, mockups in Google Drive, feedback in text messages, status in a Notion page the client never opens.

The result: clients chase you for updates, your team hunts for the latest version, and the agency looks less organized than it really is. A client portal fixes this by putting the whole project in one place, visible to the client without status reports.

What a good client portal should do

Before picking a tool, check these six things. They decide whether clients actually use it.

  • Visible progress: milestones and what’s left to do (see steps).
  • Conversations inside the project, not in your inbox (discussion).
  • Organized files with the right version, plus deliverable approval (files).
  • Your brand: your logo, your colors, your address (branded portal).
  • On mobile: clients reply and approve in one tap (mobile app).
  • Nothing to learn: one link, and the client is in within a minute.

What changes with XTablo

Your team works in the Studio: projects, steps, tasks, schedule, files and chat. Your client lands in their portal with your logo, on an address like youragency.xtablo.com, and only sees their own projects.

Nothing to build: no Notion template to maintain, no sharing permissions to double-check folder by folder. Create the project, invite the client, done.
