The short answer
XTablo offers an AI connector built on MCP. You generate an API key in XTablo, then connect Claude or another MCP-compatible assistant. It has 20 tools to read and create projects, steps, tasks, posts and messages. You run your client projects by talking to it, with no copy-paste.

Why it matters

Your assistant reads projects, steps and tasks. You can ask it where a client stands.
The connector follows the MCP standard: Claude, or any other compatible assistant, can connect to it.
How it works
Who it’s for
You are starting a site for a new client. You ask Claude to create the project's steps and tasks, then you adjust what is specific to the engagement.
You have a list of post ideas in your assistant. It adds them to the project's content calendar, with their dates.
You want a quick rundown before a call. Your assistant reads the project's tasks and steps and summarizes what is left to do.
XTablo's AI connector is an MCP server. MCP is the standard that lets an assistant use the tools of an application. The connector gives Claude, or another MCP-compatible assistant, access to your Studio through an API key. The assistant has 20 tools. It can read and create projects, steps, tasks, posts and messages. In practice, you describe what you want in plain language, and the assistant acts in XTablo for you. You stay in control: you generate the key and you decide what to ask. The connector is built to save time on repetitive project management work, such as creating a series of tasks, preparing posts or reviewing the state of a project before a meeting. Everything the assistant creates shows up in XTablo, so your team and your clients see it like any other item.
You start by generating an API key in XTablo. Then you add XTablo's MCP connector to Claude, or to the MCP-compatible assistant you use, and give it that key. To check that everything works, ask it to list your projects. Once connected, you can ask it to create steps, add tasks, prepare posts for the content calendar or write a message in a project's discussion. The items it creates appear in XTablo, as if you had entered them yourself. If you have several clients, you can work project by project: the assistant first lists your projects, then acts on the one you name. The same connector also lets it read what is already there, so you can ask for a status before you ask for a change.
