Direct connection opening soon · the method that works today is explained below
A Search Console client report that fills itself in.
Clicks, impressions, pages on the rise: your client sees them in a portal with your logo, in the Reporting tab of their project.
7-day trial, card required · Live in 5 minutes
The short answer
XTablo is compatible with Google Search Console: clicks and impressions for a site land in the Reporting tab of the project, which your client can see. Honest status: the direct connection is built, but it is pending Google verification and open to tester agencies first. What works today: export the Search Console CSV and import it into Reporting, or push the numbers through Claude (MCP).

What is Google Search Console for in an agency client report?
Search Console is the source of truth for SEO: clicks, impressions, queries, pages. The agency problem is turning those screens into a client report every month, by hand, in a PDF nobody opens.
With XTablo, those numbers live in the client’s project, in the Reporting tab. Your client checks them whenever they want, right next to the project steps and deliverables. You spend less time building reports and more time on the actual SEO. For a ready-made structure, try the free client status report.
Is the direct Search Console connection available yet?
Not for everyone yet. The direct connection is built: once connected, the project’s Reporting receives clicks and impressions every 6 hours. It is pending Google verification and open to tester agencies first. We are not giving a date.
If you want early access, ask XTablo support. In the meantime you don’t have to wait to offer Search Console reporting to your clients: both methods below work today.
How do you connect Search Console to XTablo today, step by step?
Method 1, the CSV export: in Search Console, export the performance report (clicks, impressions) as a CSV. In XTablo, open the client’s project, go to “Reporting” and import the file. The numbers show up in the tab your client sees.
Method 2, through Claude: if you have connected XTablo to Claude or ChatGPT, ask it to push the numbers into the project’s Reporting. Claude uses XTablo’s AI connector, so you can paste an export or just describe the numbers. In Claude, create an API key in Settings > API keys, then add the MCP server address https://v2.xtablo.com/mcp. Details on the AI connector page and the MCP page.
Either way, you stay in control: you choose what gets imported and you review it before the client looks.
What does your client see in their portal?
They open their link, with no account to create, and find the project’s Reporting in a portal with your logo, your name and your address (agency.xtablo.com, or your own domain on the Agency and Business plans). What’s visible is set project by project: they never see your internal workings.
They see the numbers, but also the context: the project steps, the content waiting for approval, the discussion. A client who sees traffic move and the work that explains it is a client who stays. See the client portal.
Which agencies get the most out of the Search Console integration?
It’s built first for SEO agencies, which have to prove month after month that the work pays off. It also helps web design agencies that launch a site and track its first months, and content agencies that want to show the impressions their articles generate.
What are the limits?
- XTablo does not track SEO rankings: it displays your numbers, it doesn’t monitor keywords. Keep your rank tracker.
- The direct connection isn’t open to everyone: until it is, the CSV import or Claude route is manual.
- Imported numbers are the ones you import: you choose the period and you review it.
- This is not an official Google integration: XTablo is compatible with Search Console and relies on Google’s public API.
How to get started
- 1Open your client’s project in XTablo, then the “Reporting” tab.
- 2In Google Search Console, export the performance report as a CSV for the period you want.
- 3Import the file into the project’s Reporting.
- 4Or ask Claude (through the XTablo AI connector) to push the numbers into Reporting.
- 5Review the display and add a note to explain the changes.
- 6Choose what the client sees and share the portal link.
- 7If you want the direct connection, ask support for early access.
