The new homepage looks great. Can we make the banner bigger?
Sure, testing a bigger headline and a darker background.
The short answer
XTablo is compatible with Notion in three ways: you paste the link to a published Notion page and it displays in the project, a public Notion page can become a tab of the project, and the AI agent can read your Notion (OAuth connection). XTablo doesn’t automatically import your Notion projects: it works as a client portal around your pages.

What is Notion for in an agency client portal?
Plenty of agencies keep their briefs, guides and knowledge bases in Notion. But giving a client access to Notion is risky: you can’t fully control what they see, and their space doesn’t carry your logo.
With XTablo, you keep Notion for writing, and the client finds the useful pages in their portal, with the rest of the project: progress, files, discussion. If you’re torn between the two tools, read our take on a Notion client portal alternative.
How do you show a Notion page in XTablo, step by step?
In Notion, publish the page to the web and copy its link. In XTablo, open the client’s project, add the “Embedded tools” app and paste the link. The page displays in the project.
For a dedicated tab, a public Notion page can become a tab of the project: your client clicks the tab and the page opens inside their portal.
The content stays in Notion. When you edit the page, the client sees the published version. The preview loads on click.
What can the AI agent do with Notion?
XTablo’s AI agent (beta) can read your Notion after an OAuth connection. It uses your pages to help you set up a project or answer a question. It reads; for sensitive actions it only writes after a team member approves.
Notion is also one of the MCP servers offered in one click for the AI agent. See the AI connector page.
What does your client see in their portal?
They open their link, with no account to create, in a portal with your logo. They see the Notion page you chose to show, next to the steps, files and discussion. They don’t see the rest of your Notion.
You choose what’s visible project by project. See the client portal.
Which agencies get the most out of the Notion integration?
It helps content agencies, which share editorial guidelines and briefs, web design agencies, which hand over user guides, and coaches, who keep their program in Notion.
What are the limits?
- No automatic import of Notion projects: XTablo doesn’t copy your Notion databases or tasks.
- The page must be published: a private link won’t display for the client.
- Link only: no sync, and the preview loads on click.
- This is not an official integration: XTablo is compatible with Notion and uses public links and OAuth.
How to get started
- 1In Notion, publish the page you want to the web and copy its link.
- 2Open the client’s project in XTablo.
- 3Add the “Embedded tools” app and paste the link.
- 4Or create a tab from the public Notion page.
- 5Check the display the way your client would see it.
- 6Share their portal with them.
- 7Optional: connect Notion to the AI agent through OAuth.
