A signed quote inside the project
Your client signs where they already follow their project. You find the quote and the decision with the rest of the file.
Quotes and invoices
Your client signs the quote in their portal. You track invoices and send reminders by email, without leaving the project.

The short answer
In XTablo, you add a quote or an invoice as a project file. Your client sees it in their portal and can approve, sign, or decline it. The signature is a simple one: name, email, and a document fingerprint. For an invoice, you mark it as paid and send the client a reminder by email.

At a glance
Why it matters
Your client signs where they already follow their project. You find the quote and the decision with the rest of the file.
You see which invoices are paid and which are waiting. You send reminders by email from XTablo.
Client emails go out under your agency’s name (“Agency via XTablo”), not from an unknown sender.
How it works
Who it’s for
You send the quote for a website redesign. Your client signs it in their portal, then you track the deposit and final invoices in the same project.
You work alone with ten clients. You drop each invoice into the project and see at a glance which one hasn’t been paid yet.
You bill a monthly retainer. You mark each invoice paid as the months go by and send an email reminder when a due date slips.
XTablo offers a simple signature. It records the signer’s name, their email, and a fingerprint of the document. It is not a qualified electronic signature under the EU’s eIDAS regulation, and we don’t present it as one. It keeps a record: the client saw the document and signed it in their portal. If your contract requires a qualified electronic signature, use a dedicated tool for that document. If you’re unsure about the legal value of a document for your business, ask a lawyer for advice. The simple signature is there to record that your client reviewed and signed the quote in their portal, and the decision stays attached to the project, next to the quote itself, with the rest of the file.
No. XTablo doesn’t offer online payment by the client and doesn’t replace your invoicing tool. You keep issuing your invoices with the tool you already use, then you drop them into the project. What XTablo adds is tracking: your client sees the invoice in their portal, you mark it as paid when the payment arrives, and you send an email reminder if needed. Those emails go out under your agency’s name. So you keep your own payment process, and you just stop digging through your inbox to find which invoice is still open. If you use an invoicing tool, it stays your system of record for issuing invoices and collecting payments.
